The Indian Heritage School celebrated 80 th Independence Day with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm. The programme began with a soulful patriotic choir, setting the perfect tone for the celebrations.

The Principal Sir hoisted the National Flag and addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech. This was followed by a meaningful Nasha Mukti Pledge administered by the Brahma Kumaris, encouraging students to stay away from addiction and make healthy choices.

A Solo Singing Competition for Classes IX–XII was then organised, where students showcased their wonderful singing talent and gave impressive performances.

The Head Boy and Head Girl of the school addressed the gathering with their inspiring speeches in both English and Hindi, expressing their patriotic feelings and love for the nation.

The little ones added a special charm to the celebration by presenting iconic slogans and inspiring lines of various freedom fighters, bringing the spirit of patriotism alive.

The programme continued with the presentation of Academic Awards, recognising students for their outstanding achievements. Certificates were also awarded to students who participated in the CISCE Zonal Games & Sports 2026.

The celebration concluded on a proud and inspiring note, leaving everyone filled with patriotism, pride and gratitude for our nation.
